What does Freedom Mean to You? June 26, 2005 |
What Does Freedom Mean to You?You can read our ezine on line at Back Issues We're putting the final touches on our upcoming July ezine. We are adding a section, "Freedom - What Does It Mean To You?" Please either reply to this message or send an email to bmascio@adelphia.net telling us what freedom means to you. Please try to keep your statement within a 100 word or less paragraph. Some thoughts to get your creativity moving: Freedom to use your insurance, Medicaid dollars, Medicare dollars (etc.) towards the type of service that best suits your individual needs ? Freedom to choose the best price and location to purchase prescription drugs - even if it means a trip out of the country? Describe what freedom means to you on a political level, on a social level, on an economic level. Freedom as it pertains to privacy issues. Freedom as it pertains to the choice you would make in how you want your social security dollars managed (the money you worked hard all your life for and was deducted from your salary - by no choice) Pretty much, anything goes. Just remember - our readers are senior citizens, family caregivers and businesses professionals serving the senior citizen. Consider this audience a family audience, so please take care in your choice of words. You can freely express yourself and make your point while refraining from using offensive words. Thanks! I know, I just removed one of your freedoms of speech - you can comment on that too if you like :) Thanks again! Barbara Mascio
