What are the monetary benefits for the non-profit organization or association?

You receive a 10% donation directly from Senior Approved Services each time we complete our unique customer-driven survey and certification process for the elder care businesses associated with your organization. This is money that you are free to use to support existing programs or to add new programs.

What are the monetary benefits for those businesses within your organization and/or association?

Each service provider (a business that offers a facility, product, or other service to our older population, disabled and/or family caregivers) that chooses the exclusive Senior Approved survey and certification process, will receive a 10% discount of the certification fee.

What are the overhead costs involved for the non-profit organization or association?

You can implement this program at no cost to you or you may choose to control the program internally which would create some mailing costs as you announce this opportunity to your preferred referral lists or to your association.

What kinds of restrictions does Senior Approved Services place on how we use this money?

We ask that this money be used to further assist seniors, the disabled and their family caregivers. We ask that you periodically inform Senior Approved Services how you have used the money and what impact this money made on the lives of those you serve.

Is there a lot of paperwork involved?

No. This is a simple program

Do I have to have a 501c designation to participate?

Yes. However, if you are a membership organization or perhaps an association with members made up of businesses serving this population, each individual business may be either for profit or not for profit.

You are the entity receiving the donation, the individual business; regardless of their IRS status will receive a 10% discount on their survey and certification

    Do we have to require?...

No. This is not a program where each referral service or each of your membership must participate. We do not put you in the position where you must ‘enforce’ or ‘require’ the certification. You will simply announce the opportunity, or allow Senior Approved Services to announce on your behalf.

Can we choose to terminate this program?

Yes. In fact, we encourage you to try this unique program as a test. If at any time you decide this is not advantageous for both your organization and those service providers applying for certification, you can simply put an end to the program. Senior Approved Services will stop sending you donations per your request.

Do we have to sign a contract with you?

No. Should you have an agreement that you want Senior Approved Services to sign, we are happy to review and consider your terms.

Your certification process is renewable every two years. How does that affect us?

The Senior Approved Services Affinity program is designed to offer you an ongoing source of donations, with each certification renewal, you receive another donation.

What exactly is the Senior Approved Certification?

Senior Approved Services was created to ensure that all seniors and those with disabilities (our vulnerable population) receive excellent care and services. Further, to provide a method to ensure that each person receiving care remained safe while receiving this care.

Senior Approved Services links seniors to excellent elder care resources. Excellence is not defined by the subjective or objective opinion of our staff. Excellence is not defined by the internal opinion that service providers may have of themselves.

We felt that excellence ought to be defined by the actual seniors and family caregivers that are currently (and have used in the past) using these services.

We have developed a customer-driven survey process in which service providers contract with Senior Approved Services to survey their clients. Senior Approved Services requires that the overall survey results must show a 90% or higher customer satisfaction rating.

Once this has been established, and only then, Senior Approved Services can then feel very comfortable in recommending services to other seniors. We explain that the services we recommend have an excellent customer satisfaction rating, derived solely from the actual opinion of the seniors that have used this service in the past.

How does the certification benefit the senior and the family caregiver?

The certification is a beacon. It allows the consumer to quickly sift through the enormous number of choices available to them.

Contracting with a Senior Approved certified business offers peace of mind, they at least know that historically, these businesses have delivered excellent care to others.

How does the certification benefit the service provider?

There are many, many benefits to the service provider. We have developed features to the certification that are unavailable to the service provider anywhere else. Features that increase client retention and increase customer base.

How do you suggest we announce this opportunity?

We will work together to create an announcement to your organization, association and membership. It is important that you feel comfortable in how this opportunity is described to your valued members and to those that may be a preferred referral source for you.

We are willing to attend your next membership meeting and provide a presention, or if you prefer, a simple letter mailed to your membership may suffice.
