PreRequisites

Each business must meet or exceed the following prerequisites prior to the issuing of the survey process leading to Senior Approved Certification.

In our pursuit to develop the most comprehensive directory of Excellent health and elder care services for the sole purpose of advocating for the right of all seniors to receive excellent care while remaining safe and free of all harm, abuse, or fraud, we not only serve this precious generation, we serve the industry as a whole.

We want each Certified Senior Approved business to benefit from the association with other verified Excellent providers. This can only be accomplished by carefully screening each company that desires this symbol of Excellence, which in turn, attracts and assures that savvy consumer.

PreRequisites

Effective March 1 2008

Each of the required documents can be found and downloaded in a PDF format upon your request by completing the form on Request Certification

  • The business must be in operation for three years - 36 consecutive months) prior to application for the survey/certification process.

  • There cannot be any civil law suits pending against the company concerning ‘quality of care’ issues.

  • There cannot be any state violations pending against the company concerning ‘quality of care’ issues

  • If the business is a facility (assisted living, adult day services, adult group homes, nursing homes) then a representative of Senior Approved Services must first tour the facility as part of the application process.

  • Each applicant must agree to the Mutual Non-Disclosure Confidentiality Agreement.

  • Each business must verify that its daily operation of the business implements ethical business practices. You are required to download, sign, and return the Code of Ethics statement with your application.

  • An application must be completed. Applications for each type of business are available on the application page, which you will see at the completion of filling out the request form.

  • Each business owner or key administrator must schedule a telephone interview with a representative of Senior Approved Services at the time the application is submitted.
It is essential that we speak with the owner, or the person that the owner has entrusted his or her company to, for this interview process.

Required Results from the survey process

Prerequisites of the actual Senior Approved Certification ...

The survey is qualitative in nature, it is not quantitative nor is it comparative. The survey results will reveal specifically what your clients' perception is of your service and or product line.

Our focus is on assisting seniors by connecting them to Excellent companies that have, through our process, proven that it is indeed a safe reliable service to contract with.

It is this high lofty goal of protecting our precious elderly from harm that we require a minimum of a 90% approval rating directly from your client base.

We also require a minimum of a 70% return ratio on the survey process. We acknowledge that most survey companies boast a 23% - 24% return ratio as successful but after nearly 5 years of issuing surveys, we have averaged a 92% return ratio and so can safely require the 70%.
